STREnGth_M publishes its report on roadmapping methods on European, Member State and international level

Due to the complex nature of shaping the future of road transport in Europe, effective mechanisms for Road Transport R&I roadmapping are crucial. The aim of the STREnGth_M project is the improvement of current methods and, where necessary, the promotion of new ones. In order to facilitate this, the project developed this report, which proposes an updated definition of what an R&I roadmap is, details how roadmapping activities are carried out today, and analyses roadmapping activities at ERTRAC, Member State, and international levels.

The report provides insights on how the main phases of roadmapping work:

  • Roadmap initiation
  • Roadmap creation
  • Roadmap follow-up

It furthermore provides useful information on best practices relating to each individual phase and aspect of roadmapping, drawn from a wide array of roadmapping traditions across ERTRAC, Member States, and international countries. The final part of the report contains a set of recommendations following the analysis's results.

Check out the report here to learn more about the results and how it contributes to the work of STREnGth_M.
